We had the most fantastic Sunday lunch. The best beef I have had in years, and a beautiful pud. A truly delicious meal. Going back on Tuesday for another meal.

Warm and welcoming reception. We had one of the specials; slow cooked shoulder of lamb (can't remember the Spanish name). It was tender and very tasty, served with a superb red cabbage, crispy roast potatoes and parsnips, and a lovely medley of al dente fresh vegetables. Altogether - DELICIOUS! The service was excellent and not intrusive. A really good find... More

We visited here today for Sunday roast, as my daughter recommended it. I'm so glad we did, what a wonderful, friendly inviting place. The food is absolutely outstanding and the presentation is out of this world also. The staff and owners are lovely and just attentive enough. For the food and service you receive it was expecting a high price,... More

We found out about The Plough from an AA book about pubs offering good food. We tried to get in one evening without a reservation, with no success. Even no room to park in their lot! Next evening we did manage to get in and were happy we did. A lovely menu, with lots of local flair and really delicious... More

We had a good meal and were made very welcome but i felt the staff came back a little to frequently to ask if the food was ok after it had been served. My rabbit casserole could have done with a bit more time in the oven for my preference as it didn't fall off the bones that easily to... More

Nice atmosphere, good service. Different food to what you might expect, very well presented. A bit pricy for both meals and drinks, but worth it. We will return.
