My boyfriend and I booked a table at Passaparola based off the reviews here. We really enjoyed our experience! Location-wise, each to reach by car. When we got there, the restaurant looked full but we were accomodate immediately. We ordered different menus with wine but sincerely for the amount of food we got , I almost felt like we underpaid!!! It... More

Very good food. Competent chef checks on customers. Pasta was delicious (wild fennil). Excellent meats with local selection of wines. Terrazzo with terrific view.

Lovely location, good views and nice staff, unfortunately the food was average and presented with very little love. There is good food to be had in Tuscany and if the food had been as good as it should have been this restaurant could be a very special place.

On an October self-guided tour of Tuscany, we wandered into the lovely hill town of Montemerano looking for a lunch spot. It was the season for harvesting porcini ("little pigs") fungi all over Tuscany. We happened upon Passaparola (which I believe translates to "word of mouth") and had the most delicious, fresh food and wine of our entire Tuscan adventure.... More

There are occasions when atmosphere is almost more important than food. Or rather, when the atmosphere is so perfect that you can imagine you would even enjoy an old shoe sole. Do I sound romantic? Passaporola makes you a romantic. We are in Montemerano, one of the 100 most beautiful villages of Italy. The Italian autumn is perfect: a blue... More

Thoroughly enjoyable family-run restaurant serving local food. Very good-sized portions and the food hot and fresh as could be. Meats a particular speciality. There is a lovely terrace for outdoor dining, and the views from it are great. Like most people, I suspect, when visiting this part of Italy I imagine myself, before I go, sitting out a warm evening... More

A family run restaurant - husband cooked, wife served - with nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was good but not amazing. I was here back in 2011 and had an absolutely amazing dinner so I was a bit disillusioned this time. It seemed that they tried to "fancy-up" the menu which is unfortunate.

The place it's the key of this restaurant: a nice view, a cosy and rural design. The owners are kind and friendly. If you like wild meat or just a nice pasta, then It's worth a visit
