We frequent this restaurant for special occasions.Upscale, yet dress casual, not expensive but higher mid-range prices. Quiet atmosphere in a historic structure. I recommend the Chalupas con Chapulines con Salsa Roja, as your appetizer. I love it.

Very nice Mexican restaurant in the very center of Puebla. Delicious Mixiote (lamb stew Mexican style) and Chapulines (sliced grasshoppers on toast).

Ordered the traditional chicken mole. The chicken was tender but the mle was not fresh and had either been microwaved or left sitting in a skillet or pot for quite some time. Very overated restaurant, many choices in Puebla with better food. Also the maitre...More

Read other reviews and we had to try it. Consensus was that the food was excellent. Pricey for Mexico but worth every penny. 2 drinks each, appetizers each and 2 main courses cost about $60. We had the Chiles en Nogada and Chicken Poblano and...More

This restaurant has probably the best gourmet food in Puebla. The tortilla and cuitlacoche soup was excellent as well as the shrimp covered with non-spicy chile. The best dish was the artichoke au gratin!

The building is very pretty and the restaurant is decorated very nicely. The food and service were good. Only mishap which I believe should not happen in a restaurant like this one is that one of the side dishes I ordered was no longer available....More

From the outside this looks fairly low key, but once inside it a lovely heritage building that has been simply but beautifully renovated in a local style. A group of us were taken to this restaurant by our Mexican colleagues. All of the food was...More

Aside from service being a bit tardy towards the end of the meal, more or less expected in central and south Mexico, this restaurant hit a grand slam, clearing all the bases. The wait staff was courteous and helpful, the wine and spirits list more...More
