In the historic center of Morelia is this beautiful restaurant that serves lovely wine and delicious food. Unfortunately I had eaten a late lunch, so instead of ordering one of the beautiful entrees, I had an empanada appetizer and a salad of greens. Both were delicious and just what I needed. Others in the party had chicken or carne asada... More

A must experience restaurant in Morelia. The service was first class and the food lived up to the atmosphere. Traditional cuisine with a twist. Highly recommend for a quiet dinner for two, or a gathering of friends. The prices are more than reasonable.

This is a somewhat serious place, great for business related lunch/dinner, not for dating or food/drinks with friends. The food however is delicious. I had a great ojo de bife, different types of French fries and mashed potatoes with a great wheat beer. It was a great dinner.

Beautiful surroundings, great wine list and well prepared food. One of our favorite meals in Morelia.

The place is like prehispanic lost gem although it has a few places where it could be renovated. The service is quite good and quick. I recommend you order the chamorro or arrachera. Real good would reccommend.

The restaurant is in a stunning old building, with the authentic architecture for which Morelia is famous. That aspect of our evening was superb. Dinner itself had some glitches, though. First, they have no menu in English. We don't speak Spanish, so we used our internet dictionary, and the waiter did his best to translate when we were stumped. But... More

We go here once a year and our guests are always blown away. We just went there again a couple of days ago and the menu seemed to have change a little bit. And wow, what an amazing evening we had once again. Decoration, service and cuisine are excellent!

We felt special from the moment we arrived. The service and presentation were only surpassed by the décor. The food was excellent, and they brought us atole to sample. We have had it before, but never as delicious. It's an experience you shouldn't miss.

Just left this attractive restaurant and our table in its beautiful courtyard...if only the food had been a match with the setting and the attentive friendly service....to summarize the disappointment: 1) chicken enchiladas that qualified as the worst in 15 years of extensive and regular travel in Mexico....the tortillas were literally rolled flat due to the conspicuous absence of any... Excellent service and good selection of local cusine. The Enchilada con cecina was a bit drier than my liking, but beautifully presented.
