Actually a roll, half of the steak was all grizzle most expensive & disappointing. Had to go next door to bakery & buy salad roll 😣

Service was slow, but understand given it was Easter. When food arrived it was wrong. When we raised to the waiter she said that was what was on the docket which you don't get when you pay for it. First mouthful of the fish and it tasted like it came out of the tin. Overcooked and certainly not fresh. Went... More

Originally I was eating at the blue room, which is more organic, however no free wifi and when I did manage to connect on letting them know, this was then disconnected. So I went to the Fishes Cafe and without ordering anything originally was allowed to use their Wifi without being hassled or any questions being asked, which was a... More

I had the fishermans basket, my sons had 5yr- kids hamburger and 9yr- stuffed chicken with subdried tomato and a trio of cheeses with potato bake and asian green salad. All food was amazing, I know I tried them all. The whiting I had battered was soft, the calamari was a bit over cooked but the scallops were hevenly! The... More

The food here is pretty good but not amazing. Standard fish, chips, burgers etc. The coffee is good but the wait times are often long.

A good place to eat. The food was tasty, and the location is great. It's in a great location the staff are friendly. It's not trying to be anything it's not. It's a nice cafe, with good prices and good food.

It's hard to review this cafe. Had a great lunch with perfectly cooked fish and excellent chips the first day so came back next day. Second time fish was overcooked - tasteless and dry. Chips ordinary. Steak sandwich was tough. Seemed to be same staff who were pleasant enough. Good location next to start of North Gorge walk but no... More

This restaurant is very casual, but very popular with all ages. Have eaten here quite a few times when staying at Point lookout. Prices are fairly average for what you get, mostly fish options or burgers, and it is licenced. Would consider it good value for money for casual dining.

We had fish and chips. The meal was large but nothing out of the ordinary, was just very average fish and chips which cost $36.00 for 2 adults. Staff were very nice and polite.

Really rather unpleasant food. Staff seemed nice enough and the decor with the nice looking chalk boards listing a range of fresh specials all sounded nice. The plastic menu we got seemed to offer a very different product. Firstly two calamari and chips and a snapper and chips in my mind should not cost over $70 even if they were... More

Swoon over breathtaking sea views and the salty smell of the ocean at Point Lookout's favourite restaurant. Indulge in the whale rock big brekkie and a side of the island's best coffee. For lunch or dinner dine alfresco with a beer on tap or grab takeaway fish 'n' chips and head to Frenchman's Beach.
