We heard great things about this place from friends and decided to give it a go. We stated with the tamarind margarita. This tangy drink was refreshing. The glass was rimmed with Sal de Gusano which we learned was was mixture of salt, ground chiles, and ground agave worms. Do not let that worm thing put you off--it was exotic... More

We have eaten year many times before. This time the service was pushy but friendly. The food was OK but not as great as in the past. For example, really dry chicken. Some good, some not so good dished. Extremely expensive for the quality. There are better options.

We had high expectations with my friends after reading some of the reviews. These were met fully with perfectly grilled octopus for a start. For the main I had a tuna which was also perfect. Great herbs used, meat was delicate.. hmmm.. I even took a salad for takeaway as my wife couldn't join and that was lovely also. Everything... More

Chef is so cute". He made the day all worth while. Our party was 5 couples all close friends -- men didn't really want to attend but we told them they could drink while preparing their meal! it was a great day !

We visited Los Tamarindos a few times during our stay because we found the food and the view so amazing! The menu is all based on locally grown or sourced food and is as fresh as can be. The menu if varied and you will find something for everyone. While the drive can be a little precarious it is well... More

As you travel down the dirt road, following the signs, wondering what is waiting for you at the end. Much to our surprise we were greeted by Pietro, some one we have know for the past 8 years. When greater by Pietro you know your tastebuds will explode with wonderful flavors. Cuisine summed up is Baja Mediterranean and ALL organic.... More

We found this place without much research and decided to be adventurous and give it a try. It was the best decision we made the whole trip. When we first arrived, we toured the farm, picked veggies and toured the kitchen. Dinner was nothing short of an experience. We had the family style meal and tried almost everything on the... More

This place is worth going off the beaten path. Authentic, produce grown onsite. Staff couldn't be nicer.

Tamarindos is a restaurant on a working organic farm and the seating is on a large, beautiful vine covered terrace/patio with a peaceful view of the surrounding farm. The food tastes fresh and is very good. "Bread" is served with freshly sliced heirloom tomatoes that wow you with flavor and simplicity. We've been to Flora Farms and love that too,... More

From the other reviews, I thought this would be a fun thing to do with our two families with young adult children. It by far exceeded all of our expectations! We arrived to find a beautiful restaurant overlooking fields of organic produce. Enrique met us and took us out to the farm to explain all about growing organic produce and... More
