This was a second visit for us as we were so impressed the first time. Made the trip specially for a birthday lunch and were delighted once again. Innovative, clever, tasty, individual, surprising flavours and textures, use of leaves, flowers, locally sourced ingredients...it's all here....More

Exceptional and stunning menu of local fresh produce. Not your everyday food and not cheap - but well worth it. My only criticism would be the langoustines were small and tasteless - and at £11 for three, not worth ordering, but everything else from the...More

This was our 12th meal at Inver in the past 3 years, and each time we think it is the best. Between 4 of us we had mussels, cauliflower soup, mackerel, dumplings/gnocchi, plaice, halibut and plum tart and everything was superb. Each course is imaginative...More

Eat here during a week long stay food is amazing incredible value and you can buy amazing sourdough bread and home made jams to take away. If inver was in Glasgow or edinburgh it would have a Michelin star well worth the drive

I have known of Inver Cottage or Inver as it is now known for 50 plus years. It was my father's favourite restaurant in Argyll and I am tempted to say that it is a case of like father like son. The journey to Inver...More

We had a lovely meal, the food was perfect (although if I'm ordering from a menu I don't think the food needs to be announced....yes that is what I ordered🤷‍♀️) We did enjoy the overall experience but felt it could be more relaxed.

We've visited Inver numerous times over the last 4 years, and have enjoyed each visit. It's a relaxing space which is complimented by beautiful views of the ruined Castle Lachlan. As you eat, you can watch the tidal change at the Inver beach and the...More
