It is in a lovely location with a nice garden and characterful inside. The food is excellent with a varied menu. Staff friendly and efficient

A really nice pub and the food is quite good. However, for a country pub just a stone's throw from the river (and lots of walkers), I found it amazing that they didn't allow dogs in. Had a very enjoyable meal here with girlfriends. Lots of nice sounding items on the menu and also some specials on offer. Friendly, pleasant service although the young lady who served us was not terribly professional explaining that the hanger steak came brown or pink !I think perhaps they need to explain dishes to staff. We enjoyed an excellent family lunch recently, were well looked after by friendly, attentive staff and our meals (all six of them) were deliciously devoured. It doesn't pretend to be haut cuisine and is good no nonsense fare, priced accordingly. The location is tucked out the way and ideal for those walking between Bourne End and Marlow, just a five... My girlfriend and I have come here several times now and every time the food is spot on 👌🏼 Add a cosy environment and friendly staff into the mix what's not to like!? A firm local favourite of ours, would highly recommend!

The Queens Head is a real hidden gem, great seasonal menu along with daily specials using local produce , I could not fault it. Excellent choice of ales on draft and an extensive wine list that accompanies the menu perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive, the waitress was able to explain the menu and tend to our every needs.... More

Spontaneously popped in on Sunday night for dinner. Loved every bit of it. My daughter who is very fussy loved the Local beer battered fish, my other daughter tried local venison to my suprise she enjoyed it too.
