We were staying locally and as it was within walking distance decided to give it a try. What a great little pub. It was very busy and turning quite a few tables, which for a Thursday night in a little village is good to see....More

Went for, and got, an excellent light lunch. Prompt service although busy (it was a Saturday). Relatively small car park so plan on getting there early, or on foot,. after quite a long drive up a narrow lane. But, well worth the effort. We overshot...More

A great pub, very olde worlde with flag stone floors etc. Great choice of food and drinks. Very interesting awful drivers in their huge gas guzzling cars having problems negotiating the narrow lanes and turns. A really lovely and beautiful pub

Ticks every traditional English pub requirement- and even has friendly staff too! Portion sizes are decent as well.
