Wonderful evening with 4 courses each paired with wine. Interesting well executed menu in a beautiful setting. The foie gras mousse left us wishing for more!

Came to the Rosewood brunch on the 1st of January...I have to say it is worth every penny! The buffet is to die for, any mexican craving you might have you will find there. Top quality mexican dishes ! Also an amazing fruit buffet, cereals, waffles, crepes...mimosas, natural juices...anything you can dream off for breakfast. The restaurant itself is so... More

This was the best meal we had in San Miguel. I had bean soup and lobster in garlic cream and my wife had heirloom tomatoes and lobster fettuccini. All if the dishes were fantastic. Great atmosphere and great service. Our waiter was attentive and made excellent recommendations.

We ate at 1826 twice for breakfast, and it was in a league of it's own. Granted, the prices ($325 MX/ea) were in a league of their own as well, but it was money well spent. I highly recommend the chilaquiles and the stuffed pepper. They're both amazing. I'd rate our breakfast experience at 1826 on par with the best... More

Lunch for three. Food, service, ambience all excellent. I had the tuna. Amazing! My wife had the seared tuna salad which she raved about. Desserts were sinful but worth sinning for. Highly recommended!

We were guests at the Rosewood Hotel, and one of the nicest parts of our stay was dining at the 1826. We had four breakfasts -- full American style breakfasts -- and two dinners. Every meal was excellent, well-prepared, with the freshest of ingredients and made exactly as requested (accommodating our dietary restrictions). It was a pleasure to dine there,... More

What a treat! I usually steer clear of buffets, but this is not a normal buffet. Rosewood came highly recommended by Stewart, the owner of Zumo. The staff at Rosewood organize and cook such an amazing buffet, there is something for everyone. There are multiple stations that cover numerous breakfast and lunch items. From tasty cheese and fruit to fresh... More

This restaurant is located in the Rosewood hotel. They offer a fantastic breakfast and also dinner (didn't go for lunch but might want to check the menu if interested). Went several times for breakfast and ate dinner once but ordered several things for dinner and shared and we were not disappointed at all!

We stopped for a drink at the Luna rooftop bar, which was great, but moved downstairs. It was just too cold for us, even with heated blankets. So down we went to 1826. Elegant. Gourmet. Attentive. Delicious. They even made takeout chicken soup, not on the menu, for a friend who was sivk and could not join us. A very... More

This is our favorite restaurant when we want to celebrate a special occasion. It has a quiet elegant atmosphere with impeccable service and some of the best desserts ever.No other restaurant has a fresh bread basket like 1826. They're menu changes seasonally and they feature international cuisine with a Mexican bent.
