Menu is in Spanish, but that was just part of the experience. Food was amazing, service was friendly, and the price was right. Highly recommend

Fantastic oasis from vendors and traffic. We ate there 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The tuna and avocado, molcajeti, and the shrimp and jicama tacos were all great. The staff were prompt and delightful

We'd had drinks on the roof top (Azotea) a couple of times and great service so we decided to try dinner one night on the main level. Nice atmosphere. The downside: All the dishes were served cold, no seasoning on the vegetables. The salads were OK. Staff that night was attentive but inexperienced (a good waiter wouldn't deliver cold plates!)... Delighted to stumble across this gem. Food was very good but the best part was the 4-piece band in the restaurant playing a mix of Latin American folk music. Talented musicians playing many instruments: guitar, ukele, pan flute, tin whistle, bass, varieties of drums plus occasional vocals. Perfect background music for dinner. Surprised by fireworks on view through the glass... More

A quiet restaurant with attentive servers, Pueblo Viejo was a good choice for a special dinner. We liked everything we had, shrimp, beef, and vegetarian items. Upscale but not too pricey. Recommended.

Started off with wine and water in filthy glasses. Asked for new glasses, equally dirty.. We were compted for wine, but that really doesn't forgive the poor cleaning. I had a very over cooked stuffed three cheese chicken breast. Fair at best. One of our diners had pasta arabietta which looked and tasted like it came out of a jar with... More

This was our first meal in SMA and it was delicious. Highly recommend. Loved the giant teas. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign. Value was great.

The place is nice in decor but lacks of ambiance. The music group wasn't good. The food was ok, I had a chicken and shrimp "molcajete", first time I try that dish and, yes I recommend it.

We like to visit this restaurant during the sunset for a drink and a light appetizer. The mango Margarita's are great, so I am told and the jicama taco's with shrimp are fantastic! Highly recommended!
