I visited Cumpanio in a large group with my family. I ordered the potato and leek soup with the burger which were very tasty. The bread is amazing. Service was attentive, although some orders took a while to arrive.

We certainly would have given a point more, if we didn't have to deal with this absolutely unprofessional and unfriendly cashier lady. The restaurant had problems with European credit cards (which otherwise worked fine in all other restaurants during our 4 week Mexiko trip). We...More
We regret the incident with the cards. We are glad you enjoyed cumpanio and panio. We hope to see you again in San Miguel Allende and Cumpanio.
REALLY good little restaurant with very good service and great food and pastries. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.......all are very good

We enjoyed dinner here on our last night in San Miguel. The restaurant was filled with ex-pats and both service and food were very good.

Panio's pastries go nicely with good cappuccinos in comfy chairs. We would have liked lunch but it was Labor Day & they had a 45-minute break around 1:30 to change from breakfast service to lunch.
Thanks for your comments. Now we are waiting for lunch at Cumpanio. regards!!
