This was our favourite spot in San Miguel de Allende because: 1) the open-air rooftop was magical, especially at sunset, 2) the exceptionally friendly service treated us with warmth and took the time to answer all of our questions about San Miguel, and 3) the food was tastier than we expected it would be (I figured that this would be... The demographics are age 30 and under so we were seated in the corner. All the cigarette smoke was blown there. This is primarily a Spanish tapas place. We were a party of 4 so we sampled several dishes. The worst was the octopus which was undercooked and raw spices. Everything else we tried was good...not great The service was... More

This hidden gem is located above Pueblo Viejo restaurant. Great spot for sunset cocktails or cocktails any time after 1:00. Staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly, decor is hip and comfortable and tapas style food is excellent! I recommend the jicama tacos, but having eaten almost every item on the menu I can say that it is ALL good!

Enter this rooftop restaurant through the larger home and you restaurant called Pueblo Viejo. Head right upstairs by the staircase on the right and be prepared for heavenly food and a heavenly view. Quiet music is fun by a DJ that adds to the ambience. Make sure to order the Jicama tacos. Amazing taste sensations, enhanced by crispy fried leeks... More

We were encouraged by a number of people to visit the rooftop bar of La Azotea to see the sunset and try the jcima tacos. We got there at 6 pm and lucked out that we got a great table (it started filling up fast soon after we arrived) with a perfect view of the sunset. We started with the... More

We had a great mid-day meal at Azotea. The food was excellent, the service was efficient and gracious, and the view and ambience were terrific.

This rooftop location is among our favorite stops on our usual weekend crawls. The cocktails are exceptional (try the Bloody Mary) and the bar/tapas menu is great. Try the Jicama tacos. They're unique and you might as well start with a double order. Trust me, they're that good. And did I mention to views. I don't think there are any... More

Ordered a taco and guacamole and wine. Guacamole took 20 min. Think waiter forgot. Not very ambience but just go for a drink

I only had a glass of wine so I cannot comment on the food. I will go back hungry and try the items recommended by other. The wait staff was fun and attentive. It's a great location if you're in the center of town.
