What an awesome place to get churros, despite the long wait! They've a separate line for takeouts, so that helps. The restaurant has lots of movie posters, dolls and other knickknacks, which by themselves are a feast for the eyes. Looks like the place is good for breakfast as well, but I didn't get to experience that.

We were in San Miguel for 5 days and this place always had a line. The lunch was by far the worst we had in SM with mediocre enchiladas, soup, and service. The churros were good, but you can get them to go. With so many great food options, I wouldn't waste another meal here.

Apparently this place is very popular and boasts a great reputation for good churros but in our opinion they are not. The wait is long for undercooked and and under portioned churros. The French style hot chocolate was good. I would not go back

We were lucky to get seated right away at this very popular churro a place facing the church of San Francisco. There was no line as there was a flash flood! But we were thankful for the comfort of churros and chocolate! Yum!

There's always a line out the door here after dinner, even just to buy churros and chocolate to go. We personally loved the thicker, less sweet Spain-style hot chocolate, but several types are offered. The churros are excellent, and many types are served. Definitely a San Miguel institution which you must pay homage to!

When you see people lining up, it's a sign that the place must be good. And we are so right. This is Churros Heaven! Order your churros with their traditional Mexican Chocolate drink and you taste Mexico in your mouth!

So this is where the visiting Mexicans eat their breakfast. As gringos we were by far the minority. This is a very small restaurant and it was absolutely packed yesterday morning. We were there around 10:30 AM. I ordered cheese enchiladas with mole and absolutely loved them, even though it was breakfast. Their dark sauce was great. Not the best... More

We had breakfast as well as hot chocolate and churros. The food was ok and the churros were fresh. The service was slow and inattentive. Long lines and too much to wait for. Quite overrated. There are much better places in town.

We stopped in here for a churro breakfast on our recent trip to San Miguel. The churro were yummy, but we had the worst service. It took over 5 minutes to get one of the 5 waitresses attention so we could get an extra fork. The hot chocolate arrived 15 minutes before the coffee orders. The waitresses would stand in... More

This is cafe-like and the churros are made in house and priced a little high in my humble opinion. However Darling, if you want a decent glass of wine at a decent price right off the square, this is your place. The atmosphere is coffee house and the tables are crowded together. I came two nights in a row for... More
