Awesome, simply awesome. Churros are good, nothing that I hadn't tasted before but good. The chocolate, though... that was above average by far. I tasted a combination of spanish and white chocolate and it was one of a kind. Plus, the rest of the food is pretty good as well. It takes time, it's not fast service, but it's worth... More

Came here for a hot chocolate and churros with some friends. There's always a line of people outside and we waited a long time to get seated even though there were a lot of empty tables inside. Finally got seated but no one came to see us to take our order as the staff seemed too busy standing around the... More

we had a few days of cool weather in SMA, so headed for hot chocolate. The first time we went here the hot chocolate was way better than the second time. Churros are Ok- but after eating one from a man selling them in the street in Guanajuato, everything pales in comparison. The hot chocolate comes with churros, and you... More

My visit to San Agustin was a very pleasant one. The food is great, chocolate and delicious Churros, unfortunately there were several reasons why this isn't a 5-star review. 1. Waiting list- You should expect to wait several minute to get it and there's no accommodation for the people that's waiting 2. Customer Service- It wasn't great, they are unable... More

This place fills quickly, but also has pretty quick turnover. And, although they serve breakfast and lunch, it's the sweettooth crowd that takes over, especially around 3 p.m. or after school let's out. The churros are okay, if not a bit greasy. The hot chocolate is super creamy and DELICIOUS!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Churros & Chocolate tonight! Decided to go after dinner for dessert to check out the hype. Waited a bit to be seated... but so worth it!

Excellent. Can't be beat really. San Miguel de Allende is quaint but way to many tourist compared to other colonial towns in the area. This place was a gem though and the owner, the actress, singer and former playmate was seated right behind us in the pic.

Always visit San Augustin for their freshly made churros and hot chocolate when in SMA. Usually the line is long but well worth the wait for a table. It's the perfect spot for a sugar fix and the hot chocolate smells and tastes divine. It's a real, authentic Mexican treat!

I'm not a churro lover so when I stopped with friends it was for social reasons only. I was in for a surprise. My churro was served hot from the fryer with the very best goat milk caramel sauce on top. Since it was a rainy day I had Mexican hot chocolate. It could not be better. I went on... More
