Sal Y Pimienta isn't better than other Zipolite restaurants, it's difficult to find a bad one. What I think is most appealing and why locals recommend it so enthusiastically, is it's low price. Great value.

We went to Sal y Pimienta at lunch time and it was a perfect choice: super nice waiter, delicious fish and guacamole, cold beer, the ocean in the background and fair price. I would go there again without thinking twice.

We had Pescado a la Veracruzana and Agua de Jamaica. It's a very simple setup with plastic tables and chais right on the beach, but food was good (fresh, good taste).
