Every sense was delighted! The food is amazing, ambience, soft live music, shopping experience…the whole package is above excellent. Our trip to Flora’s Farm was one of the most memorable parts of our vacation. Can’t wait to return!!
I cannot even begin to describe the beauty of this place. It is truly amazing! From the moment you walk in, you know that it is special. Everything is farm to table. The drinks the food and the service are impeccable! We came for my...honeymoon/husband’s birthday and we were made to feel like family! We came back three days later and the manager remembered us and not only thanked us for coming back, but brought us sparkling wine and cinnamon rolls to take home. This place is truly an experience and a do not miss if you are in the Baja area!More
Excellent service, ambience, and food! We were celebrating my husband‘s birthday and they gave us (on the house) a generous slice of chocolate fudge cake that was simply divine! The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend a visit to Flora Farms.
We chose Floras Field Kitchen to celebrate both our daughters 18th birthday and our 30th anniversary. I mentioned it in the reservation and to the hostess. All mentions were ignored. Yet we saw other groups celebrating. A little annoying since it was a big deal...to us, I was not going to mention it a third time.
The location is quaint for sure. With a few shops, a wine and coffee bar and a microbrew that sadly was closed on the Tuesday we were there.
We started with their amazing homemade bread and butter. Mexican butter is always divine and this was no exception. Could have lived on that. Next, we ordered the homemade burrata and housemade salami. We were not disappointed. My daughter and I shared a stone fired pizza of tomato and bacon that was delicious. Perfectly done crust with some bits of brown which I really like. We also ordered the grilled broccoli. It was fine, should have saved the money on that.
Our oldest daughter had the herb fettuccine with farm fresh egg. It had pieces of pork which she really enjoyed. She ate every bite!
My husband had the fried chicken dinner which is the special on Tuesday’s. He loved everything about it but the potato salad. The Mexican style corn on the cob was the highlight. It was great. The chicken was tender and moist. Banana cream pie came with his dinner. One of the best I’ve ever tasted—Delicious. Save your money on the pistachio cake. Tasted more like bread than cake.
As we were leaving a gentleman asked how we liked the meal. My husband responded it was one of the top five in his life. It really was. But it was also our most expensive meal in San Jose so based on the prices, we expect that it should be up there on the list of best meals.More
This isn't so much a review as it is a thank you to the wonderful staff at Flora Farms. Thank you for making it such a very special event for my girls and myself. Top notch service, exquisite food and the beautiful grounds make for...a incredibly great evening. Cheers to the staff at Flora Farms...
We will be back!!!More
This place is amazing!! The ambiance is incredible! The grounds are adorable! They have cute shops, an ice cream stand, and a trail that will take you through some of the farm! I was there for fried chicken Tuesday and loved it! Everything we ate...was delicious and fresh! Would definitely go back!More
The food and grounds are amazing. They have a fantastic staff that goes beyond to make sure your dining experience is well worth it. I loved the little market and wished that I had the time to try our more of their products. Maybe next...timeMore
We did the tour followed by lunch. I'll skip all the details, but basically, the tour was a sales pitch without any information on the farm and cultivating food. This is not surprising as the tour guide ended up revealing that this was just a...window for tourist but the vegetables and meat was imported from another farm (you'll notice no animal on the property and barely any culture). The place is a make believe made as pretty as possible for tourists.
Getting to lunch, we at least thought the meal would be good, whether or not the products were cultivated locally. sadly, the place was pretty expensive and the food rather dull. The vegetables and salad were in all honesty rather good, but the chicken and other items we tried lacked flavor and seasoning. so, the ingredients were good, buy them there if you wish too cook home, but the restaurant itself was pretty bad. One exception, the bread was excellent and they sell it on site too (they sell everything you can think of... even pieces of land for your to grow your own veggies....).More
Sure this place is cute but the food wasn’t worth the hefty penny you spend. The burrata was delicious but that was best part of the meal. We also ordered the fish of the day., Two fettuccines, the sparkling lemonade, a watermelon julep and a...juice. $200 for a mediocre lunch in the blazing sun. We were not lucky enough to get the shaded part of the restaurant. Definitely would not come back. The only reason I gave it two stars rather than one because the burrata was delicious.More

I’m not sure if you are thinking I am part of the restaurant, I’m not. We just attended a cooking class late morning and was given lunch as part of the class. I’ve never been there for dinner, so I can’t answer which is better. Whichever you choose I’m sure both are amazing. However, should you choose the dinner, ensure you give yourself time BEFORE dinner to walk around the grounds, especially if you are into gardening, it’s beautiful there. Plus there are shops to check out.

Last year brunch was $30. All you care to eat of course. I believe Sunday brunch is from 10-2. This time of year it is truely delightful and is great for couples, groups and young families. I would strongly recommend making reservations several weeks prior to your trip in order to get an 11:00 reservation.
