We went to the public beach Las Palmas Beach in Tulum and found that Las Palmas Beach Club had lounge chairs and umbrellas available for rent. The rent for two lounge chairs and an umbrella was 250 pesos. We ordered two drinks and when the bill came it was equivalent to buying two drinks in the United States 250 pesos.... More

Mostly just a few plastic chairs and tables that are set up in the sand under some palm trees during the afternoon. Nice little place for tacos and drinks right on the beach. Super friendly staff. No mezcal or margaritas on the menu, but when we asked (just in case!) the waitress said yes came back with both.

If however all you want is a relaxing day down at the beach mixing with the locals and... More

We live in Tulum and Las Palmas is where we feel at home. I almost hate writing this review because we love the quiet, relaxed vibe. It is one of the few beach clubs locals still visit...great view, good food, good prices. Nothing fancy...wood and plastic tables on the sand under the palm trees on one of the best stretches...
