We got take out. Grilled chicken with rice, a few cut vegies, tortillas and salsa. Also had a side of guacamole and potato with cheese. It all was reasonably good. My wife really liked the guacamole.

This place is open till 7:30pm, go for lunch or early dinner because chicken is amazing. The place seems quite dirty but chicken is so good! Go and try it!

Picked up some Pollo Bronco while on vacation in Tulum. We heard it was excellent for the price so we thought we would give it a try. We had the chicken and all of the side dishes. We were overly thrilled with the food. Not...saying there was anything wrong with it, it may have been that our expectations were too high. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly. When in Tulum next time, we will give it another try.More

Cheap (whole chicken + tortillas + rice and salsa for 155 pesos to go), fast and delicious! Went there, got a chicken right away and had a wonderful dinner at home.

With only a few days in Tulum I wanted to make sure that we sampled some of the best food on offer and after several other stops in Mexico and a week in Cuba which took us over budget I hoped to find the most...economic offers also. Unfortunately this is an occasion where I feel a little disappointed by the trip advisor community and in myself as I was fooled into thinking (rather I wanted to believe) that great food could be got at this price point, it's stop-gap stomach-liner at best. When we arrived I already noticed the sides of rice and spaghetti were in plastic containers, clearly cooked in a batch at some point earlier in the day and left out on the container for order. There are few tables inside and none were free, though not being used by customers, it was the restaurant's staff who were occupying them, which left us only with the option of sitting outdoors. A fly-tastic 40 minutes or so followed where intermittent palm pats were continually needed to try and keep our food clear of winged landings. I should have let them at it, the food was so poor. Our aforementioned rice had made it to a plate and only had its hours of condensation to provide some inkling of it ever being hot, the spaghetti, a random enough choice to offer as an accompaniment to chicken, and even more so a random enough order by myself would make the tinned spaghetti we were given as kids when the homemaker of the house didn't want to cook blush. Again delivered lukewarm, this time in the container in which it proudly sat counter side earlier, noticeable droplets of condensation on the lid. The potato with cheese awkwardly served in tin foil made the tepid mash difficult to remove and unless one has the tenacity to really scrape it from its wrap stuck to the inside of the foil, no such effort should be made if the juice isn't worth the squeeze, and trust me, this potato really wasn't worth the cheese. The free sides of salsa (unlike other reviewers we only received one) and plentiful tortillas were fine, the shredded cabbage without seasoning or any kind of dressing really impacted in no way and was mostly left untouched in its watery stew. The flies had more interest. At this point two hungry dogs began to sidle alongside our table and we encountered our next interaction from the 'waiter' (literally sat inside at a table in view of ours WAITING for us to leave) since he plopped down our plates; as he squirted out some water from a bottle to deter the hungry hounds. Again, perhaps inviting them to our meal might have delivered some satisfaction in the shape of our two four-legged customers(?). It says a lot that I'm nearing the end of my review without even mentioning the 'star of the show' - a faded starlet more like, think jaded, struggling-with-addiction Hollywood actress who's best years are well and truly behind her yet still pops on a frock and make up for the cameras, of which there increasingly fewer or even more accurately a centrefold in your older brother's Penthouse magazine with the pages stuck together, leaving only some features still visible, you know the person must be attractive but you can't get a good enough look to say why. Maybe with a bit of love along the way, things might have gone differently for our actress, and likewise with our Penthouse model, the first printing would show us what we missed and indeed were looking for, but sadly she's just like our chicken now, past it. The fact that it was brought SO quickly to our table was a cause of concern as again it was clear the chicken must have been cooked earlier in the day, it was fine, lukewarm, had that barbecue char but ultimately nothing special. The highlight of the meal was that so little care or effort was made that we were there and gone so swiftly that I can write it off in my mind and move on, leaving just the thought of 'why were those Penthouse pages stuck to one another and with what?' the only thing to haunt me at night. Average chicken, poor everything else. Go to one of the many food trucks in Tulum to get your budgetary fill of delicious food made with love and care instead.More

Loved the char on the chicken and the price was amazing! Got a full chicken (includes rice, coleslaw and salsa) and a two mashed potatoe w cheese for about 225 pesos!

I've never had better chicken than I've had here. Its juicy, flavorful, the skin is crunchy. And the cheese potato. OH THAT WONDERFUL CHEESE POTATO

This place is one of my favorite. The price is so cheap it is like they pay you to eat. So much food I always over buy because leftovers are just as great. I hope Pollo bronco never changes. You guys rock!

1 whole chicken, rice, salad, tortillas and 2 cokes enough food for 4 meals for $10. no brainer especially in a town that can be as expensive as Tulum. The chicken is a basic asado with a good grill and the guacamole is great too....ate here 2 times in 2 days and both times were solid and super fast.More

They rock chicken by the truck load. Seriously, they do great business and have delicious chicken. It's the only thing I've tried there but at that price, it seems impossible to beat.
