Aguachiles is one of my fav restaurants in the riviera maya. Only thing that I don't like, prices are getting up. Besides that, 100% recommended, in cancun, playa or Tulum.

As couple we visited on a Weds nite. Ordering Shrimp in sweet n sour and fish. Both were very tasty but served with no sides. The white house wine was good and a blended fruit smothie very good. The deserts were out of this world. I ordered chocolate cake with vanilla icecream that rocked. My wife had an artesian mango... More

I ate here a few times and I tried almost all Tacos on the menu. Honestly the tacos are one of the best I have ever eaten! It´s a very creative kitchen, they make it all themselves. They make delicious sauces (which you can buy!!!) that you cann add onto your tacos, tostadas or whatever. Definetly don´t miss this when... More

We ate here several times and loved the cilantro shrimp tacos. They were yummy and the guacamole was good also. Only down side is street musicians wander in to serenade and beg for tips while you are eating.....but it has nothing to do with the restaurant. Servers were friendly

Dad had shrimp tacos with cheese, I had tuna tostada and cilantro shrimp tacos. While the sauces were good and unique, nothing out of the ordinary. Will not return to

I ate here 3-4 times over the course of a week. We began to affectionately call this place the Boston Pizza of Mexico. Perhaps for its colourful and extensive menu, but definitely not because it was a comparable experience to the monotonous food of the BP chain. You will find many great tacos, tostadas, sandwiches, seafood plates and ceviches on... More

Stopped for a quick work lunch here and it was quite enjoyable. It was not too busy on a weekday afternoon. Service was good, food satisfying, and it was reasonably priced. I had the tempura shrimp tostadas and the tuna tostadas, both were nice. Next time I will try the aguachiles they are known for. My colleague had some and... More

While it's not difficult to find a decent taco in Mexico - this place was exceptional for the Tulum area. Located right on a corner, near the edge of the main strip -- and its usually always packed! Amazing array of tacos, general Mexican cuisine, and hispanic inspired cocktails to try (they are famous for their mezcal.

Shrimp broth, octopus tostada and fire cracker shrimp.... All awesome. I really loved the soup. Its a wonderful blend of flavors, and somehow just makes me feel more local.. :). We did arrive just before the kitchen closed at 9pm, the wait staff didn't care at all... They were so nice and really genuinely having fun. Real smiles and joking... More

Flavorful little tacos! I can definitely eat at least 4 of them in one sitting. Minus one star 'cause the server is 'over it' .
