We ducked in here to avoid a giant downpour, and it was a great place for a little break! The salsa was very delicious- made in house of roasted vegetables. Yum.

Nice looking restaurant ... We want for lunch but I'm sure it is very nice when all their hanging lamps are lit. My husband especially liked his fish. My daughter was served giant shrimps that she really enjoyed. Our waiter came to discuss with us excursions not far from Tulum. I Think we will go back. When we return to... More

Charlie's restaurant in Tulum located on the right hand side of the highway as you are almost through the puebla. They have the best lime/chicken soup for a hearty lunch. There is also a cool gift shop next door to browse while you wait to be served. This is a moderatly priced and very good lunch or dinner spot.

I'm waffling between a rating of very good and average for Charlies. We thought the prices were a little high compared to the other Tulum restaurants we tried and the food seemed average. I must say the margaritas really knocked us back, not necessarily a good thing if you are wimpy drinkers like we are! The courtyard dining area was... More

The place is right in the main avenue and has a relaxed atmosphere. The food is ok, but I expected more for a recommended place to get traditional mexican food.

We dined at several places in on 9 days in Tulum area. We got recommondations where to dine and expectations from the place we stayed. They told us about Charlies and we were so glad we did. The food was good. The service was good. But we were lucky enough to have two small children playing there. We had some... More

We got a table street side for lunch one day to people watch. Really nice place, great food and very reasonably priced.

This is a friendly restaurant on main street Tulum. Great food and prices but most of all they have a couple of jewelery makers that have set up shop in the front corner of the restaurant. The young women has more hippish jewerly and the man has silver handmade jem stone jewelery. They are a great combo as they meet... More

Charlie's is on the main drag in town: outstanding fish tacos (4 on a plate -- big portions), casual traditional Mexican food, great margaritas, and nice ambiance. Lunch or dinner. They take credit cards. I know locals go here, and that, for me, is always important. Lovely courtyard.

Thank artnik
