We ate here several times. Service was fantastic, food was excellent. All fresh all good. Out of 6 different meals we were never disappointed. Coffee was flavourful. Price was always reasonable. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Playa.

Ate here 12/6. Had a great plate of huevos rancheros, served with a bread basket to sop the leftover sauce, and coffee. Total? 85 pesos! I'm staying in Club Yebo Hotel next door, so very convenient. Try them...you will be happy you did.

The food and service here is perfect. It's like you going home for a cooked meal. It's away from the touristy places which is what we want. I want to experience this cultural first hand and this place gives it to you!

My family went fishing with a local company and caught 9 barracudas. Our hotel would not cool the fish for us so the fisherman took it to this restaurant and they cooked it 3 different ways for $10 each. They were so warm and welcoming and treated us like family. We will definitely do this again.

Went on a fishing trip with "Fishing with Ivan" group and caught some barracuda and snapper. After the trip our captain brought the fish to Aay Chabela and the chef made them into masterpieces! I'm not.much of a fan of fish but, this was so good I ate until I was stuffed. We had some tasty Pico a few beers... More

It's not what you would consider fine dining (hence the 4/5 stars) but really, this place is awesome. Great guac, ceviches and wonderful breakfast. Beer is cheap, food is cheap but the place is cleaner than most 5 star restaurants. Lotsa local fishermen and scuba dudes and tourists in the know.

Let's begin with "the locals eat here"--indeed, they do. And so do we, every time we get to Playa (at least once a year.) The food is fresh, home-style Mexican cooking, very inexpensive. The restaurant is clean, open-air and well situated near the beach, off the over-beaten path. Service is excellent and friendly. We had fish tacos so good that... More

This little jewel was worth finding. The cerviche was very fresh and flavorful. They offer several different kinds. I got the house specialty which was great! They have a bar too. My husband had a meat dish which was very good as well. It is not much for atmosphere but if you are looking for good food at cheap prices,... More
