This is an inviting looking place. It's colorful and has fun lights all around. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had nice mojitos, good pico and chips, and I loved my chicken tacos and my friend enjoyed her goat cheese salad. I would definitely go here again. I don't know if it always cash only but it was the... More

I have been here a dozen times in just a few months for one reason. It's really good and the same price as normal in the area. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the food has very good flavor.

We are staying in the neighborhood and have eaten here five times in a week. The decor is eccentric, calming, and delightful. The menu is varied with some traditional dishes as well as things that are a little different. Every staff member we come in contact with is super friendly and helpful. Everything we have ordered has been spot on!... More

Recommended by our Airbnb hostess, we went to La Cueva for Sunday brunch. There was about a 10-15 minute wait, and judging from the lines we saw during our stay you can always count on a brief wait. They do seem to move folks pretty quickly and it's well worth it. Very pretty setting that you don't expect when you... More

Wandered on this little place while on an evening walk and I'm so glad we did. The guac/salsa is incredible and you can fill up on that alone. Had the Tuna Tostadas for dinner and they do not disappoint! Definitely worth checking out :)

Love this place! The setting is one of a kind for Playa, set on one of my favorite streets. The food is great, their juices are fresh and refreshing, watermelon is my personal favorite. Definitely make this one of your must eats!

This is for fellow Celiac folks who can't eat gluten. Here is my review. Waitstaff were awesome! Switched out the chips for tostadas, which they confirmed were just corn. Best guacamole of my life. The trio of salsas were all gluten-free (the Serrano pepper sauce was so flavourful - just beautiful). The beans and tortillas were all also gluten-free and... More

The Chilaquiles are to die for. My favourite breakfast in playa. Great atmosphere and good sauces and salsas.
