Cada San Angel is a small gem on Calle 49, steps from the beginning of Paseo Montejo. The lobby with its hand painted walls and bountiful potted plants is worth a visit alone. The restaurant is staffed with attentive and knowledgeable waiters and is a great place for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea/coffee. Don't miss the enchanting gift shop, with... More

We always bring new and returning quests to Casa San Angel hotel. The staff and owner have always been friendly and helpful. IOHO the dinner is very good. One time we reserved a table for our Son, his expecting wife and another couple during the day. The forecast for the evening was for cool weather. The waiter said he would... More

This has always been one of our favorite restaurants, but you know how you rave to a friend about a place and then you all go and it's disappointing? That's happened to us. We took a friend for breakfast for their amazing chilaquiles, and some hotcakes. The chilaquiles were really not what they were -- more like a breakfast nacho... More

Nice setting , Wait staff pleasant and efficient ,but struggled with very ordinary food. Chicken salad drowned in Mao, with hard peas , like an 80's dish done poorly

Amazing ambient, the restaurant itself is quite small but it's cozy and calm. The food was tasty and beautifully decorated. The waiter was very friendly. I recommend this restaurant.

Above and beyond our expectations, especially since we were a group of 6 of whom 5 had various food allergies! We opted for mostly breakfast dishes for lunch, but then each and every one of us asked for something extra or something omitted, and they got ALL our orders right, and with a smile. Very well cooked and presented food,... More

The dinner was nice. I have been here several times. The only problem was leaving and getting a cab. We waited outside with three dogs and kids calling me and my wife names. This was not the exit we wanted and there are several places in town where you do not have to deal with this harassment. I would go... More

We were headed to Noche Mexicana at Plaza Montejo and wanted some place to have dinner, so we ended up here. It was a hot, sticky evening, but we sat in the central patio under a fan and it was delightful. We each had arrechaga, skirt steak, done in different ways and both were wonderful, so tender you could cut... More
