Listened to a very good jazz group while watching the triathlon participants running by on Paseo Montejo as we devoured our huevos motulenos on a Sunday morning. Very good food and excellent service.

We expected great quality food and service and didn’t feel we received either. The food wasn’t as ordered and it wasn’t good and then the service wasn’t good. Disappointing compared to others in the area.

We came for an early Sunday dinner on a "chilly" Merida evening. Unfortunately, the rooftop area wasn't open, so we sat in the ever-so-pink courtyard. Noel, the head waiter and sommelier, was ever attentive and was able to have the kitchen whip up a fabulous...More

Rosas & Xocolate has lovely outdoor seating right on the Paseo. We went in for a late breakfast/ brunch, and had an excellent meal while enjoying a beautiful day and people watching on the Paseo.

We visited and had brunch on Sunday morning while the bicycle parade was occuring on Avenue De Montejo. Love jazz music which added to the atmosphere. Very pleasant to sit outside , watch the parade and eat slowly.

I looked at the hotel to stay but I found it to expensive, I went to have a drink at the restaurant and found it pricy. Staff attentive.

Beautiful setup inside the Rosas and chocolate hotel with delicious food and nice staff. Good selection of cocktails and wines. The upstairs bar has nice views of the Paseo Montejo Avenue. Will come back !

This restaurant appears in most guidebooks and considered a great place to dine. But, that is not true at all. Considering that Merida has a broad selection of fine restaurants, Rosas & Xocolate's food is not tasty. We went there both times and the quality...More
