Great guacamole to start with and then had the chicken enchiladas. Some of the best I have ever had. Everything was so fresh. You could tell that everything was made when you ordered it and loved the serve yourself bowls of beans, pico, and salsa. Great place and will make me want to stay on the south end next time... Friends took us to this place for a simple tasty meal. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had. It was quite fresh tasting but coupled with the warm, freshly made tortilla chips, the combo was wonderful. Our party had various tacos, roast pork with cheese and the arrachara. Everyone was happy. The owners are very welcoming and... More

This review is after the second great experience we have had. We ordered the chicken soup which was great. It had a wonderful lime, cilantro, peppery flavor and was delicious. We also ordered chicken and cheese empanadas. Three large empanadas came with the order which were all crisp, flaky, and wonderfull. I would say the best thing we had was... More

Believe it or not but people do get colds on the island Daisy's chicken soup is wonderful. As well as their entire menu. You get plenty to eat for a very reasonable price. So if you are in La Gloria or you are craving home cooked food. This is the place

If you want some of the best authentic Mexican food on Isla Mujeres, head to the La Gloria neighborhood where the locals eat. That's where you'll find this gem. I had the Arrachera Queso Tacos and my wife had the chicken Burritacos. Both were incredible. When the meal is served they welcome you to go up to the little buffet... More

This restaurant in the heart of La Gloria is a great place to eat great local food. We loved the enchilada suizas. They are only open in the evenings, well worth the trip into La Gloria if you are staying in town

Ate here after 9 one night and the place was jumping! Pork tacos and Alhambra chicken tacos on corn tortillas were to die for. Wish I had more time or a bigger stomach so I could try their sopa de Lima and suizzas. A must not miss place.
