When in Cozumel get off the Malecon and eat where the locals eat. Tacos and Tortas which for you gringos is a sandwich.

Ate here on a Sunday night. ordered the pizza, which had a really bad sweet-tasting tomato sauce, thick bready crust, and lunch meat serving as ham along with canned mushrooms. Both red and green salsas are screaming hot, but covered the taste of the pizza. Asked for a fork and received only one as waiter said that was all that... More

Wow, I have no idea how this place is reviewed so highly. The service was terribly slow, and the food was disgusting. The flour tortillas tasted like chewing gum and they put this melted-plastic-like cheese on everything without mentioning it. Their aguas frescas were just powdered drink mixes. I'm sure the pizza was awful but our cheese pizza order took... More

We ate here twice. It was good and affordable and seemed very popular with locals and visitors alike.

If you like spit roasted meat (like a Gyro), Los Seras is a great, low-key place to go. I had a torta (sandwich) and my friend enjoyed the tacos, also with the same al pastor meat. Great flavor and great jalapeno hot sauce (accent on HOT sauce) available tableside. Very casual and yet very busy. Easy on the pocketbook and... More

Food is amazing. Make sure you get the al pastor taco! Fantastic for the vacation budget too. Not on the main touristy drag but well worth stepping off the beaten path.

It's off the beaten path, but it is some of the best tacos you'll find on the island. Don't be scared by the fact that it's not on the waterfront where all the other tourists eat, it's delicious. The staff and local customers are friendly. You came to Mexico, might as well sample some local cuisine. These are not "Americanized"... More

This is a great place to get tacos, pizza, beans. We ate here three times on this trip. Took new visitors to Cozumel and they love it as well. It is a very highly locally visited restaurant.

We're not the cruise ship or all-inclusive type of tourists. We want to get out and eat where the locals do. If you're like us...this is the place for you! We've only had their al pastor and pork chop tacos...oh and the al pastor pizza. All of it was excellent! Whoever thought of putting pastor on pizza...genius! There's no alcohol... More
