They offer great tacos and the beer is cold and inexpensive. We liked the atmosphere and enjoyed this eatery.

When I SCUBA dive in Cozumel, I ask the dive masters where they eat. This place is 30 blocks off the beach so not a tourist location. It even has a walk up window that the local use. You get a lot of authentic Mexican...More
Simply put, Taqueria el Pique has the best tacos on the island. The menu is painted on the wall, there is a great outdoor seating area in the back, and the service is good. Enough said. The people writing negative reviews are just upset that...More
Very upset, we listened. Our meal was very disappointing. Even the horachata wasn't on par. It wasn't my last meal on the island thank goodness.
These tacos are delicious! It's a bit of a trek from the main touristy areas, but you are rewarded for your effort with delicious food at a crazy, reasonable price. The tacos are fresh and delicious, the prices more than fair. We make a visit...More

We found this authentic local taco spot while walking from our hotel to the beach. It was so good we went back twice! Try the tacos al pastor…so good! You know its a great find when it is filled with locals. Highly recommend!
El Pique is awesome. Some of the best local food you'll have while on Cozumel. They have a very large menu (for a taqueria), so bring your adventurous appetite. Plus it's cheap. Great food for two, plus beer for under $12; what's not to like?
This is a very small place and not in the tourist part of town. We still felt safe walking there from downtown. It's a great value but not at all fancy. We sat at a table by the entrance because it was the least hot...More
