If you want an evening walk away from the usual tourist restaurants, then I highly recommend heading to Albinos. It is a cute little restaurant serving the usual Mexican food. The waiters speak Spanish, but the cook speaks English and can help you with any dietary requirements you might have. The food is local pricing, and while we were there... More

We enjoyed a quiet lunch in this family owned restaurant off the beaten path. We shared the mixed ceviche which was fresh, delicious and more than enough for two. I had the shrimp wrapped with bacon in cheese and it was fabulous. My other half had the seafood stuffed squid and it was very tasty too. What do they do... More

The fresh whole fried fish is awesome and the huge shrimp wrapped in bacon with queso is to die far. Great atmosphere too. We took a taxi there and walked back to main strip to get taxi back to cruise ship. (About 3 blocks) Hope to go again next week!

We went to this off the beaten path restaurant for seafood and really liked it. The service was very helpful and we enjoyed our dishes very much.

Upstairs palapa restaurant in local community. On Avenida 20 North of square. Look for flags hanging from second story. Wonderful seafood and margaritas. They get their some of their seafood fresh locally so things change day to day. Try the Caribbean rice, which in now way describes this dish. It is a large cone of rice filled with a medley... More

It saddens me to say that this restaurant, which was one of my favorites for lobster and seafood, has now sunk to an unacceptable level. On a recent visit with two friends, we were told that they were completely out of fish. ( a seafood restaurant out of fish?) We opted for the chicken fajitas. What a disappointment that was.... My husband and I visited Cozumel in January 2016. Although we have been there at least 3 times before we had not been back for about 10 years. We were looking to eat some seafood, do some diving, snorkeling and bike riding. Weather in January is very windy so scuba diving an snorkeling fell off our list (public beaches were... More

Back again July 2016. Just as remembered. Excellent food, service and away from city center. This is a must eat at restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal. I had garlic grilled fish and my husband had the lobster. Both were fresh and very tasty. I love the way albino cooks he veggies. I'd come here just to eat his veggies. The margaritas are also well done. Not very expensive. A must .

I can't believe it has taken me this long to visit Albino's! We ate here the last night of our trip and wish we had eaten here every night. We had coconut shrimp and shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese sauce - OMG divine! Both dishes came with rice and sauteed vegetables and there was a dipping sauce for the... More
