Our cabbie recommended this place to us and we were very glad we took him up on the suggestion. Our chips and salsa were delicious as were our meals: chicken fajitas and $14 filet mignon served with baked potato and vegetables. If you don't eat at La Mission you may as well stay on the cruise ship !! Fantastic local food and entertainment.

My wife and I had a lunch here that was included with a Cozumel Day Tour. We were greeted warmly by the staff, who were ever attentive and never let my glass of cerveza reach the bottom. The food at my all inclusive was bsaically unedible. So we heard about La Mission from another group at our Hotel and decided to go out and try it. La Mission is right downtown. You can access it through the Plaza Confetti off of calle1 (back entrance) or from 5th main entrance. Wait staff are tripping over one another to serve you. LaMission is always a good meal for a reasonable price. It is geared toward tourists, perhaps a bit too much. While always busy, on our last visit we were "treated" to marimba music. Nice idea, but too loud and not so great. Food was excellent, however and service was as well.

We had a very nice dinner our first night in Cozumel here. The coconut shrimp was fabulous and we lives the chicken lime soup.

Enjoyed the food, good service and priced right. Tired La Mission for lunch on our latest vacation. If you want good Mexican food at a good price, you can best this restaurant.

Love the chicken tortilla soup and the prices are great. We always eat at La Mission every time we are in Cozumel and have never been disappointed. Love the festive casual atmosphere.
