Service was slow and the food was tasteless. This place was recommended to us but we did not have a good experience.

Very reasonable priced meals in a beautiful restaurant! The staff was wonderful and quick! The food was delightful. Meals also include soup! Highly recommend the fried fish and the fish Vera Cruz! Don't miss out on the frozen avacado pie....won find this anywhere else!!

I was dragged along by the "manager" of our little Mexican tour, a manager who, it has to be said, has proven gifted in sussing out good eateries. We arrived well after lunch hours, but noted that this place seems to do a pretty consistent trade no matter what time of the day it is. Once seated a basket of... More

From a conversation at the resort pool, we decided to give this place a try. I think it was part desire to try something new and part adventure to see if we could find the restaurant... :) Through some luck and directions in broken Spanish, we landed on the front step of La Choza The two dips and chips were... Last reviewed three years ago and I could write all the same great things I said about La Choza last time. Conveniently located in the center of town it remains a go to spot for a meal if you are downtown at any time of day. The service remains outstanding, conscientious waiters, quick service, dependable food in a nice atmosphere.... More

The food is good, it used to be outstanding in it's old location. I had the shrimp fajitas and it was good. Service was good, prompt and attentive. I eat here with groups of friends often and it is very accommodating for groups and it is clean.

Great fish tacos and fajitas... locals and tourists alike all go here for a nice casual meal. The only place you'll hear the live guitarists sing "Cozumel".

We were recommended la Choza by our snorkel guide as an authentic family owned Mexican restaurant- it was exactly what we wanted. It's a little off the beaten path of walking so hard to find on your own. We had guacamole, quesadillas and chile relino which were all fabulous.
