Food & service were very good, but stay away from the "Fred's martini". I think there was fresh cucumber mulled in it & didn't agree with me afterwards.

We had three couples that were vacationing in Cancun. We were able to sit out side the first night. The ambiance out there is superb. The food, the service and ambiance was some of the best I've had. All three couple were in agreement. The ceviche is so great, I had that both evenings. I had the grilled king crab... More

A couple of my friends wanted to treat me for my birthday at Fred's. We sat outside on the porch overlooking the lagoon. We sipped delicious habanero martinis and shared some oysters and the baked goat cheese as an appetizer. For our main meal we had Alaskan King Crab, creamed spinach and grilled veggies. Everything was delicious, especially the creamed... More

This restaurant was wonderful. The food was excellent and the staff was very good. It is beautiful (but hot) to sit outside and watch the sunset.

We have traveled all over the Caribbean and by far this is the best seafood had the surf and surf. My girlfriend had the tuna steak and it was excellent. Service was top notch and the mojito's were excellent. I would recommend highly.

We spent our last evening here. Perfect spot in a gazebo, nice and quiet, with a nice view. The staff was very nice. The mixed drinks are tasty, but barely contain any alcohol - mostly just a simple sugar and lime mix. The food was good, but not any better than other places we visited which were half the price... Easy 5 minute cab ride from our hotel, the Westin Lagunamar. We pulled up, and the look from outside was very promising. Inside, the decor is beautiful.....warm and welcoming, plenty of wood and elegant lighting....and windows with great views. A lovely dining room. The server was welcoming, and spoke impeccable English. A great menu.....plenty of variety. Known for steaks, but... More

I've been to this restaurant every visit to Cancun. They serve quality seafood and steaks. I've had lobster, steak, fish of the day etc. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. If possible ask to eat in a cabana or outside on the deck if you will be there during sunset. Be sure to make a reservation they are... More

My husband and I recently had a fantastic experience at Fred's House. The service was excellent, as well as the food. The salt encrusted fish is very much worth the wait!

We reserved this place through Open table, because we were with kids they gave us a place inside in the middle of the restaurant. I was disappointed because I am expecting to eat outside when I come on vacation in a such a beautiful weather. We asked but they said that the places outside are reserved days before. (we did...
