Rude waiters, gummy beef, and no idea of what quality means. This is NOT a good restaurant. Meseros groseros, carne chiclosa, y no tienen idea de qué es calidad. NO es un buen restaurante.

After a thrilling (but exhausting - 9 hours) day trip to El Tahin, we needed sustenance. A short cab ride from our hotel (Diligences), Emilio's really hit the spot. Will return for a full meal while in Veracruz.

Having a great lunch experience in a grand restaurant. It used to be a family home. It has a grand feeling with black and white photo,s of Veracruz and his people. The food was served in special ways artistic and very tasteful. The service was great. Even for a lunch hour it was busy but not noise. It is a... More

We had a lovely time at Emilio's and I highly recommend this place. It was not very busy on the night where we had dinner there but the atmosphere was great all the same. The place is pretty and cosy, there’s a bar and the design of the place pleased me, as it was modern but with a romantic feel... More

I had fish with shrimps in Veracruz sauce, it was good. They have a wide range of dishes. Waiters were slow. Decoration had a semi cosmopolitan feel. If you want a more detailed analysis with pictures of my experience there, you can find it here: http://jesusrosas.com/blog-travel-and-photography/2015/03/17/my-favorite-and-not-so-favorite-restaurants-in-veracruz/

Most of the italian restaurants in Mexico appear old fashioned and are mostly chains. The food is mostly more generic chain food than innovative. Emilios made the difference in every aspect. All the dishes were tasteful and prepared and served in an innovative manner. The restaurant is decorated very modern and all the crowd was modern. Also very suitable for... More

I really liked the food, (Ceviche and an Arrachera) and the drinks were well made. The place was clean and pleasant and of a higher quality than many other locations. Service could have been a bit better. It was fine at first but the waiter disappeared for quite a while. I finally had to take my long-finished drink glass to... More

I live in Veracruz and have been to nearly all the top restaurants. This one is the best by far, especially when you take into account that it is less than half the price of the others. The place is beautiful white marble, like a roman spa and the food is Greatl. I highly recommend the soups, salads, deserts and... More

Restaurant that evokes the old Veracruz in an era where the immigrant community began to settle in the port. It is where our kitchen part to offer varied flavors but with a historical tradition.
