Very good food for the price. Good variety for non Mexicans but including good mex stuff as well. Best so far in the area including oaxaca.

We had lunch in a lovely spot in the courtyard on a sunny afternoon. We were the only people in the restaurant for lunch, so the service was attentive and prompt. The food was excellent. I had the chicken “El Paraiso”, with peaches and honey, which was sweet and good. But I’d recommend the chicken with mushrooms and bacon, which... More
We had a lovely lunch on a Sunday. Cozy atmosphere (we ate inside). Very generous portions. Our meat was very good (maybe could have used a bit more flavoring but tasty nonetheless. The menu looks like it should be good for breakfast.
We were recommended by our guide. He was right. A very typical, beautiful, with a lovely courtyard inside where to eat. Everything is well maintained and cared for. The kitchen is very good, they cook only fresh .. I advise you to eat meat, but specified no tomato and grilled. It is your palate morbidisdima. Super recommended.
A nice antique building, gigantic margaritas and a delicious fondue. Very pleasant restaurant and great food. We will be back soon.
I liked the atmosphere and design of the restaurant El Paraiso but I wouldn't be overly enthusiastic about it because we had a nice dinner but nothing too extraordiannary. They owners are from switzerland andspeak also german, the staff only a few spoke english. We stay there also in the Hotel. It was ok. A nice hotel for some nights in the Center.

Attracted by the idea of the margaritas - and we were not disappointed! - we went here on our first night in San Cristobal. It was very quiet, only one other diner, but the atmosphere was welcoming, the waiter friendly, and the food very good. So we went back the next night and had another great meal, Mexican food with...
