It is truly the slowest service but food is good and its a nice place. Large dishes and very good hot sauce.

We spent one week in Oaxaca focusing on this wonderful lively city and the cuisine we have heard so much about. La Bizanga was the only place we went to dinner twice and with good reason. The courtyard setting is perfect and allows you to enjoy the cool evenings Oaxaca enjoys. For reasons beyond my understanding the chairs in every... More

We have been to La Biznaga several times. The food is terrific! That's why we go back. We went twice this year and would go again next time we visit Oaxaca. I will say that the service, particularly on the first visit, was pretty awful. It was a slow night, too, so that's what makes it puzzling. We were hoping... More

I've been here many times and there's a good reason why. The food is tasty, it's a fun atmosphere and it's reasonably priced. This time around, we tried some different items, including two interesting chicken dishes. Still the best margaritas.

We were a little skeptical about going into this restaurant because on the menu they tell you that the food will be VERY SLOW. There only a few tables when we sat down so we ordered our drinks and food, believing the food would take some time. It was not slow at all and delicious. As we eat our meal... More

We visited La Biznaga for dinner one evening and found the tables set up in an inner courtyard. Their menu was quite extensive and included a selection of craft beers. We each ordered a margarita which was very good and enjoyed eating the free jicama appetizer while we waited for our food to arrive. Service was good and food reliable.

Had different starters - great ceviche - and two main courses. Food was great but definetely deserves better waiters to serve it. Waiters very at best neutral if not unfriendly

The drinks are pretty good and the menu is extensive. The servers are not overlly friendly but it is still a good place to grab a bite.
