Good food at reasonable prices with outdoor seating. It could get very festive with Zocalo entertainers coming in to serenade the guests.

If you like steak, try the Filet Mignon, wrapped in bacon, perfeclty cooked, with ample baked potato and crisp vegetables. We also enjoyed the Enchiladas Verde - -a large portion, I was unable to finish it, requiring a doggie-bag to give to a street person - insted of leaving on your plate.

I asked Desayuno Yucateco, it included delicious huevos tlalpeños (eggs tlalpeños), fruit, orange juice and chocolate. I really recommend that you ask it when you visit it in the morning. The price was cheap than other breakfast in the menu. I sat in the first floor next to the window from where I had a good view of the zocalo... More

I prefer this restaurant because of its playground. Even though you have to pay 20 extra pesos. It's a great option if you cons sign kids. Service can be good from very good depending on his busy they are. The food is great and there live music in the evening.

We stopped here for coffee in the morning, and had such a good time we stayed for hours and had lunch. The coffee was good and the limonade fresh and crisp. The service was delightful - prompt, fast and charming. The pollo with mole was the standout for me - it arrived looking like a plate of thick mud. It... More

Oaxacan tamales for breakfast were really good, and really filling. Service was a little slow, but not overly slow.

Its not close to the best restaurant in Oaxaca but we find ourselves going at least once every trip. They are consistent, its a nice place to sit and watch the people on the Zocalo and, they have the best Micheladas on the Zocalo.

The food was excellent, the waiters top notch, and very attentive. Free WIFI, and a great view when the teachers protesting and camping in the park aren't there. Also there are too many people trying to sell you things. But that's not Terranovas fault. This happens in all of the city. The beer selection and appetizers is nice too. The... More

This a large restaurant on the Zocolo with lots of outdoor seating. The food was decent, service was good, but it's over-priced. You can get just as good service and good food (and sometimes sit-down too) at one of the nearby street vendors.

You can get an excellent arachera steak here plus other good plates, good sandwiches and fruit plates, and iced coffees. It;'s consistent to very good as long as you don't ask for anything too complicated.
