If it's dinner you want, you have to be there early because the Neptune closes at 7. We felt we had found a neighborhood restaurant. Oaxacan families, professorial types, working folk, friends out for a late afternoon of good talk filled the tables. The chips and shrimp soup in tiny bowls prepared us for a good fish stew and a... Found it 3rd day of 5 day visit and went back again. We eat seafood and vegetarian only. Loved this restaurant for two lunches.. Very generous portions, nice margheritas, friendly staff. Enjoyed siestas at Holiday Inn Express after each meal, we're old.

Neptuno is located just across from the southern edge of Conzatti Park, just west of Reforma in el centro. Easy to miss because it's a little away from the action -- and yet if you love seafood as I do, you might want to find your way there. Have been there several times over the year, as I live in... First off, it closes at 7pm, so don't plan on a late dinner here. Shrimp were cooked properly, but were not deveined. I had the shrimp wrapped in bacon, while my wife had the breaded fried shrimp. The shrimp were fresh and had a good flavor. As I recall, the plate came with rice and a nice fresh salad. There... More

The variety of seafood is large and all was fresh. I had a great grill red snapper on one visit and octapus soup and cervacie on another. The service was always good. On most visits the place was packed with locals, alway a good sign in my book.

Decided to venture North of the center and stroll around to see what was there and found this super seafood restaurant. Across from the beautiful park is Neptuno restaurante. An established eatery with no frills, and fresh seafood. There are no fancy presentation's, it's like going to grandma's house for Sunday dinner. This was our second visit and it was... More

While walking through Conzatti Park on the way to Llano Park, we stopped for lunch at Neptuno. Started with a tiny cup of a delicious tomato based soup with a shrimp. Our entrees were shrimp salad stuffed avocado halves (3), and filet of fish stuffed with seafood. Nice fresh side salads accompanied our meals. We had a complimentary mezcal as... More

We enjoyed sharing an entire large huachinango, fresh, of course, with all the trimmings. They brought us several fresh fish to choose from. It was nicely priced and the service was excellent! We were treated to free mezcal by the manager. Enjoyed it!

We found this restaurant the last night of our stay and it was right across the small park from the Holiday Inn Express. We liked it much better than the Marco Polo. I had garlic shrimp and my wife had shrimp diablo. Beautiful large prawns cooked perfectly with a salad and rice. They serve a small bowl of soup as... More
