It's been quite a challenge to find a place to eat vegetarian mole in Oaxaca, so it was great to finally see it on the menu somewhere! The mole was really delicious and the food generally was very simple but good. Interestingly the vegetarian mole dish costs 140 pesos on the menu, but the waiter told us the menu del... More

We love this pleasant restaurant on García Vigil. Friendly, airy, decent art on the walls, excellent service, the comida costs a little more than you might spend mid-afternoon though nothing outrageous--the food is very well-prepared, well-served. Easily worth a visit.

This restaurant is ideal for a Oaxacan breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The flavors are delicious, especially the enchiladas, enfrijoladas (enchiladas with black bean sauce), and enmoladas (enchiladas with mole). It is the perfect place to relax, have very good coffee, and enjoy the excellent service!!!

We came at lunch and all was full, so we waited upstairs in a forgotten terrace until they asked us to come back down. When a table opened up, we ordered the comida corrida, and it was excellent. I ordered mole negro and we had a relaxing afternoon as a calenda (street parade) went by right out the door. Not... More

I have been there for one time because they have a big card of menue of the day with different price levels. You will get soup, main courses and dessert and Aqua de sabor. Ok you can eat and drink it all, but the taste of the meal is a bit poor. A had a chicken brest with rice and this... More

We had a 'menu del dia' here which was ver inexpensive and good. It's a small place on one of the nicest roads. Food and service were quite excellent for this type of restaurant.

Such a great place! Adults and kids enjoyed the options. Order the side of spaghetti for your picky eaters. The mole, orange chicken, steak are excellent! Give this place a try!

I love this restaurant, as the food is very good, the staff is delightful and the street is my very favorite. I walk down García Vigil every day. I stop in to have coffee, have a snack or eat lunch. The food is fresh, and they have a great variety of dishes.

Based on recommendations my wife and I stopped here for the daily menu. I had the huitlacoche soup, my wife the consommé. I had the mole coloradito, my wife the chiles en nogada. We both had the melon postre. Agua de jamaica. Folks, this was all outstanding and pretty reasonably priced, especially given the location (be sure and check: prices... More

This is the first time I tried chiles en nogada and I loved them. Their food is authentic and delicious and the service is excellent. I love that they have a day special but you can always order anything from their menu.
