We spent 8 days in Oaxaca with the primary purpose of eating great food. It is very difficult to order the top 10. Los Dazantes certainly falls in the top three of the top ten. For atmosphere, the setting feels more urban, think contemporary Mexico City. The service was flawless, and the food was amazing. We had some very traditional... More

As mentioned at the title, a great restaurant. We ordered four plates and were all original and tasteful. Very kind service, nice wines, all in all, a beautiful night

Excellent food and friendly service. Great owned Mezcal. Good environment, but they need to put more fans in the summer

First of all our food was exceptional. We shared many items and enjoyed them all. Wait staff was also excellent and very attentive. There were two not so cool distractions. First, we had a hard time finding the restaurant as it's actually behind some shops and the sign is relatively small. Second the place is hot. It's a closed courtyard... More

We went to this restaurant by reading about it in TripAdvisor . The food was very very good. We ordered the chicken dish and pasta. They are delicious.

An interesting decor in a courtyard under a semi open cover by kind of "sails", intriguing wall design. Plants and a pond enhance the atmosphere. The menu offers many choices and our food was very tasty, so was the wine that we decided upon after some sample tasting.

Reservations necessary ! One of the best restaurants in Oaxaca - a true food city. I had grilled octopus - the best I have ever enjoyed. My husband had a fish dinner that he marveled about, and when I tasted, melted in my mouth. The restaurant has a pool and is open to the sky - its a beautiful romantic... More

This restaurant has certainly the best ambiance in the city and possibly the best food. My girlfriend and I had outstanding mezcal cocktails, an octopus appetizer, catch of the day, vegetarian lasagna, and goat cheese flan. All were outstanding. Service was also very friendly. This place is a bit on the pricier side of Oaxaca city, but everything is relatively... More

I hate to give a negative review, but, we tried 3 times to get into the restaurant (it was VERY busy!) and when we finally did, it was a big let down. It was Semana Santa and the restaurant was PACKED with BIG parties. We sat down and they seated a table of 14 behind us. I kept getting bumped... More
