pretty family and friends oriented, very good choice of sea food (we love the 'navajas'!) as well as the meat, however the last time we went a large group of us and were placed in a 'private room' just next to the entrance but they kept forgetting us!, so the service was a bit chaotic mainly due to the room... We've spent a lot of time in Buenos Aires and we know how an Argentine parilla works and this place comes close to being totally authentic. They get a few things wrong (what they call Bife Chorizo is really Ojo de Bife and vice versa) and the meat is not from Argentina and didn't taste grass fed. It's crowded and... More

The restaurant not only has good meat but also very good seafood and fish dishes. Highly recommended.

The service, the atmosphere, the food, except the beef, were all excellent. I expect to pay premium for an excellent meal. But I fear that this restaurant suffers from its proximity to the USA. I also feel that my disappointment is my own fault because I didn't investigate this enough as to what was being offered. When I asked the... More

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt like we were the most important people in the restaurant. And it was jam-packed at the time. We were quickly led to one of several available tables and attended immediately. The service and attention to detail was exceptional from the maître'd to the table staff. It was... More

Nice interior, great kitchen and perfect service. It feels like being in Buenos Aires in the middle of Mexico and the filet is just as good.

Definitely Puerto Madero is the best steak house in Mexico City. It's a little expensive (30$ -50$ or 700 to 1000 pesos per person) but it really worth the price. The steaks are very well prepared and the salads are a must try. We have visited twice and tried 3 salads so far (the Puerto, the Madero and the octopus)... More

Return visit to a favorite restaurant. Meal was overall excellent other than two of us had a wedge salad with Roquefort dressing that was terrible. The lettuce was not fresh and showed some brown edges. The Roquefort dressing was more of a whipped cream with an essence of Roquefort taste. We should have sent it back but were not real... More

The steaks are fantastic, as are the salads. The dishes are plentiful and enough to share. The decor and ambiance is very comfortable and intimate. Service can be a bit slow at times, but is attentive. I would recommend not being in a rush if you are going to dine at this establishment, but the experience is wonderful. Their wine... More

Argentinian in style, they have a good ambiance, comfortable and service is good. Price/performance is not as good as you'd wish but the overall experience is enjoyable.
