One of the most overrated places in Condesa. I have - unfortunately - been back here many times over the last many years because fresa-friends of mine wanted to go. I always cave in and I am always disappointed. The food is ok at best, the portions are tiny, the service is beyond rude, the waiters are arrogant and always... More

This is a neat little pavement type bistro in the Condesa area near Calle Amsterdam where there is plenty of competition , so to keep up with the others nearby they have to maintain good standards. The approach is relaxed informal and they try to theme it around the 'French cafe' style, which is fine but really the Mexican influence... More

We were with 5 people, including one five year old. Service was fairly quick in the beginning, then slowed as the restaurant filled up. Food was well done but not exceptional.

I visit this restaurant because of the different reviews, for which I first thought it would be a good French bistrot. Unfortunately it turned to be a very standard restaurant, not really French as it is announced. I had an onion soup which temperature was cold, for a real French onion soup. As a second course I have a steak... More

We loved all the regional cuisine we ate in Mexico, but finally needed a change. My husband rated this the best meal of the trip. The beef was perfect. The banana dessert out of this world. Friendly staff, too.

We dropped in for lunch on a Sunday and were lucky to get a table. This is a destination restaurant for locals, and we found out why. The food is inventive and very well executed. The service is lovely; the staff speak English and there is an accurately-translated English menu. Ordered a sangrita (spicy tomato juice in one glass and... More

Good enough restaurant in Condesa, Mexico City. Food is good, service is just good. Kitchen must be small since dishes won't arrive at same time or some came overcooked (while only 3 tables being served).

Rojo Bistro was my favorite of the nicer restaurants I tried in Mexico City. I found it while exploring the neighborhood, and it was lovely. Intimate atmosphere, great food and wine.
