We were looking for traditional Mexican cuisine in Mexico City and found it at Azul Condesa. We enjoyed an exceptional meal in a very comfortable setting with an attentive and capable wait staff. We had two appetizers, Roasted Suckling Pork Tacos and Guacamole with Grasshoppers, both of which were delicious. My wife ordered venison and I ordered fresh snook, both... More

I concur with the other patrons who had terrible experience at this restaurant in this location. I have never written a review in my entire life because I never had such bad experience with an upscale restaurant and I live in New York and have dined at the best restaurants from Michelin to holes-in-the-wall places and have traveled all over... The food was very good. I would have loved a tasting menu, so that I didn't have to make selections.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. It's beautiful, the prices are good, the service is impeccable and the food is simply outstanding. I was there on a business trip and the locals took me to this restaurant when I requested mole. I got the best mole I've ever eaten, plus was enticed to try the grasshopper guacamole (it was... We went for brunch on a Saturday, four adults and four kids. The chocolate was yummy but not hot. We waited half an hour for egg dishes, which arrived cold and were only ok. We also ordered the "famous French toast" for the kids - it was over the top, not in a good way. Soaked in rum, drenched in... More

Had a very good meal here. Only con was a very loud, uncivilized group of French speakers. Disappointing that they had a negative affect on our evening

I'm French. My son lives and works in Mexico City. I went to visit him and really enjoyed my stay, the people, the food there. On my last day, my son wanted to make it special and invite me to a top-rated restaurant in Condesa, so we both went to Azul restaurant. He had been in one of those restaurants... More

From the time we entered and were seated, this was a marvelous experience. The most amazing service, coupled with beautiful presentation at the table and with each course, was only the beginning! Excellent food, tamal was delicious, and the hibiscus flower enchiladas were incredible. My husband's fish entree was perfectly cooked, and included a lovely vegetable accompaniment. The "custard" dessert... More

authentic Mexican food. First I missed the entrance of the restaurant. This is just a small door in a concrete building. But inside the athmosphere wat perfect and friendly. The menu was also in English, what's nice if you spanish is poor. I ordered Tamal, because it was adviced to me from some Mexican friends. According the Mexican, this is... More
