Since it was named mexico´s best restaurant you think that nothing can go wrong. I had some food restrictios related to no dairy. Regularly when you have those kinds of restrictions the create something special for you. They didn't they skipped 2 desserts instead of creating something special for people that has those kinds of restrictions. Service was the best... More

I am not an adventurous eater but my wife is and so I booked Pujol with fear and trembling to please her. Frankly I have never tasted food this good: the flavors Pujol teases out of something as common as baby corn (served on a bed of charred corn husks in a ceramic pumpkin) are so exquisite, so unexpected, and... A great restaurant located in it's new address of Tennyson right in the heart of fashionable Polanco on Mexico City. Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Great experience. 6 course dinner. Everything very sophisticated and with great flavor. Service excellent. The ambience unique. Thumbs up!! But very expensive for Mexico. $100 per person with one drink.

I had not been to the old Pujol, so I cannot compare other than what my son has told me about the differences. The new Pujol is beautiful and very relaxing. The food was exquisite, every item from all courses. An experience like this would cost so much more in the states or other countries, this is really a value.... More

Was the food good? Yes. Was the service good? Good, but not great. Would I go back? Probably not given the steep price point. I went with some friends who work in the restaurant business, and they were particularly miffed about the disjointed service upon arrival. Since everyone is seated at the same time once the restaurant opens, the staff... More

Having witnessed the show on Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" and "Chef's Table" I tried to get a reservation once my trip was booked. After some issues with their website, I emailed and the restaurant was happy to help. I even have some annoyingly painful severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis to nuts) that they were happy to help with (something I felt... More

The reloaded Pujol surprised us, even it was our favorite Mexican restaurant they have reinvented the formula with an amazing result. Enrique Olvera is an artist of the flavors. The venue is very cozy, with lovely atmospheres. The only dislike is that they not have parking or valet.

Made a lunch reservation months ahead because we knew we were going to be in Mexico City and had heard great things about the food. Pujols did not disappoint They have a wonderful tasting menu -there's even a veggie one .Everything was presented really beautifully and tasted delicious.A lovely slow meal -2 1/2hours. It's not inexpensive but if you're looking... More

After reading and hearing the overwhelmingly positive comments on the artistry of the food, I was not prepared for the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the check arrived, we felt like family members. The honest warm smiles, questioning if we needed anything, easy to ask for details of the plate in...
