The Margaritas were Awesome. Food was excellent. Service Great. One of the best views in town. Probably one of the best places to eat in town. If you stay on a weekend, don't miss out on the Sunday Brunch. It is by far the best.

We stayed at the Gran Hotel for one week over Christmas. We had dinner in the hotel's Terraza restaurant one evening and were up for drinks and snacks two other nights. The buffet is extensive and has a great variety of choices. The service was great even though the place was very busy. Staying at the hotel will get you... More

I just stayed at the Best Western Majestic hotel last week and ordered room service from this rooftop restaurant on two occasions. I would have eaten at the restaurant but I am a vegetarian and they only offered a buffet at the time I was there. Apparently different days and different times they change the menu, but the room service... More

I used to always take my guests to the Majestic Hotel for drinks or lunch at the Terraza. It has a great view. The food and service were poor however. Now you cannot go to the Terraza unless you are having a meal. The Bar is on the left side and has a great view of the Cathedral and the... More

Breakfast dishes have a good variety but fruit was choped the night before as it was cold and dry as a sign that it was put on a fridge all night long

Best to say you are having food and sit in restaurant area vs just drinks - bar view ok , bar food average . But it is a historic Hotel and the terraza was welcomed after a day of walking

The building and the views to el Zocalo and the cathedral from the Majestic hotel are superb, but unfortunately the quality of the food does not match the setting. I eat a few Mexican botanas and while it is difficult to make tasteless Mexican food, this was just bad. Great for a drink though

Very nice place to have food. Great buffet, great "a la carta" and a perfect bar with view to Avenida Madero, a side of "La Catedral". We spend the time waiting for another event. Second time here and I will come back.

Yes, the view is cool, but you can get similar at other places. I had the chicken taquitos and my wife a shrimp dish. We both, i repeat, both, got food poisoning. I would steer clear. It may have been the cups not being clean or something... i dont know. I do know that it is not good enough to... More
