I would say that Bonito Pop has a nice room, and quite good service. The reason I go back frequently is not the food, its the ludoteca on weekends, its wonderful, and my 3 year old loves it. My husband and I get a quiet dining experience and he has hours of fun! They even have a great kids menu... More

We found this restaurant searching for the best Mexico City margarita. Travel+Leisure ranked this as their favorite. Be sure to tell your driver you want the one in La Condesa. There is more than one location. This location has indoor dining but I would suggest the main/larger two story atrium in the back. The space is open and airy overlooking... More

Didn't blow us away, but we'd go back for sure. Beautiful restaurant and special atmosphere, though I must say the service was a bit off. Wait staff were pleasant but lackadaisical and I'm still trying to figure out why they insisted on rationing the menus. Overall though, very good spot and we left happy!

Went there for dinner with my wife and ordered 2 starters and 2 entrees. For starters we had mushrooms and Red Snapper tiradito, both were awesome. For entrees we had a Picanha Pizza and Salmon Ravioli, both were below our expectations, the pizza was over smoked and had huge chunks of Picanha tough fat disgusting when chewing and the raviolis... Bonito was the restaurant our large group of 20-ish headed to for an evening out. We weren't quite sure as to the "Pop food" branding moniker, and our Mexican hosts weren't quite sure either, but nonetheless I would say I enjoyed the meal. Started with a flavorful salad, followed by the artichoke soup (very good), which had a nice presentation.... More

This is the kind of place where you see the local "ladies who lunch" but you feel perfectly fine hanging out with friends to enjoy a nice meal or drinks. We primarily went for drinks and really enjoy the scene... service was attentive, atmosphere, particularly on the back terrace, was great. That's where you want to sit. Definitely a place... More

We had a fabulous experience from start to finish! The service was impeccable from the hostess to the waitstaff including the charming elder gentleman who cleared the table. And the meal.....outstanding. We wanted to try a number of items on the menu since everything was so tantalizing. We chose the duck enchiladas, the calamari and the ribeye tacos. I had... More

Looking for options in the neighbourhood we were staying and liked the look of the menu. We tried the tuna carpaccio, fish tacos, crema de frijol, pizza margarita, the fish of the day and the delicious miniature churros for dessert. The room is beautifully designed. Didn't realize the building was designed by Luis Barragan until after. The service is warm... More

Nice patio restaurant, with an amazing menu. We tried the black bean soup and the dehydrated tomato soup, both amazing...with gourmet hidden tastes. The chef uses surprise spices that you can't tell, yet they make a big difference in the overall dishes. We ordered also the fish over risotto, espectacular. The the rib eye little taquitos, great. The beef open... More

If you're near this part of town and looking for really good food and a pleasant inner courtyard, this is a great choice. The duck confit dish I had was as good as any I've had anywhere in the world.
