My fiancée and I ate at Mexico City’s Quintonil restaurant on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. By way of background, I have been visiting México regularly for 30+ years and am currently a permanent legal resident of the county. I believe that I am both knowledgeable...More

It’s difficult to book this restaurant, we got in at 3:45pm and it’s still full. They use local ingredients for soup and salad . The beetroot and cactus salad is presented beautifully and come with a drink. The food is excellent, the only dish we...More

I want to start off by saying I'm a picky/unadventurous eater. I made reservations for my sisters birthday and opted for the a la carte menu while booking, which requires a deposit fyi* (as does the chefs menu). When we arrived we were warmly greeted...More

Very amazing cuisine. Mexican dishes with traditional flavors placed in a very creative way! St Pellegrino’s 9th of the top 50 in the world. I had Cactus salad with beetroot and tangerine, Huazontles (amaranth blossom) in a creamy tomatoes sauce with Chiapas cheese and steamed...More

This restaurant was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the world. Our group found the food to be to "precious" meaning way too fancy for our taste. The service was excellent and the presentation beautiful. We just did not like the flavors...More

While absolutely an excellent dining experience I cannot understand how Quintonil came to be rated the 22nd best restaurant in the world. The lengthy 11 course or so tasting menu had several dishes that were spot on and fascinating as well as some where the...More

Small restaurant with excellent service and food. The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste amazing. The dishes are not too small. There is a tasting menu as well ala carte menu. Good wine list though pricey.

Went for dinner, found the space not very attractive, poor lighting and very noisy. Service was spotty. Our dishes were not explained, plus drinks were forgotten. The pace of the service was so slow we felt we had been forgotten. No desert option presented or...More

The food at Quintonil was the best meal of my life - yes, better than Pujol! On the food — I had the tasting menu and beverage pairing for dinner in February 2018 and it BLEW MY MIND. The flavor of each dish was absolutely...More

I believe they allow booking 2 months (60 days) in advance. They allow booking through Open Table, which is quite convenient.

Actually, there is a tasting menu with 8-9 dishes with dessert, for 85USD. Wine pairing goes another 70USD. If you order a la carte, appetizers are about 10USD and main dishes 15USD average
