South CD.MX. The best restaurant for a typical Mexican breakfast in Mexico City, the waiter chief Valdemar and all staff members make a great experience besides the magnificent Mexican paintings around this place. Don't miss a concha with nata and hit chocolate

This place is great, many times you have to wait too much to get seat, but you're in CDMX, that's almost a rule. Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast with hot chocolate, fresh bread and delicious Mexican dishes, it's a no brainier. Not to cheap, but not that expensive.

I checked out the kitchen and it was clean. If you come after 5 pm you do not need a reservation. We had salsa with avocados, excellent. Then I had the spinach soup and my husband has the tortilla soup, both excellent. Both entrees were very good, the wine which I had never had Mexican wine before. Was amazingly good.... More

Staying in San Angel

Neighbourhood Profile
San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant details displayed throughout its streets, antique residences and haciendas where famous actors like Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent families used to live and that have now been turned into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An array of cultural and artistic activities are organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays when the San Jacinto Plaza and surroundings really shine as artists gather to exhibit a variety of arts and crafts, from paintings to clothing.
