It was the only restaurant open so early in the neighbourhood and we actually really enjoyed it. It was the only time during my whole stay in Mexico that I had impression of eating a real mexican food. Coffee with fat milk that brought back childhood memories, good eggs with a very tasty sauce and amazing pastries. All for a... More

We were there on a Monday night and there was a guitar/bongo/vocalist trio playing gentle swing and bossa nova and it was so exotic and perfect... and romantic. The food was what everyone else says about it. The staff person who served us was helpful and quite friendly. We had no problem finding a table at seven in the evening. Few... More

Super central location, very good food - not haute cuisine, but they do not even try to appear different from what they are, a no-nonsense place to relax and fill your belly with quality food - and meals are really cheap. I see other reviews complain about service - we went there twice, once for lunch, once for dinner, and... More

The food is really tasty, abundant and well presented. At early hours you can find a table. But the staff attitude is like nobody is responsible for your table, the waitress disappears and you just can wait and wait and wait.

We had breakfast on the way to a tour, had to hurry. They got the food out quickly and it was good... not great, but certainly reasonable, and the price was great.

This is a no nonsense greasy spoon type eatery. The portions are generous, and the service prompt.I believe it is open 24/7,so it attracts waifs and strays needing good value sustenance. Not fine dining, but at this price range,it would be hard to fault.

Typical Mexican food for very low prices in Centro Historico. Good service, but crowded. Open all the time.

After the epiphany festivities ended, at about 9:30 or so, sought a restaurant that was still open. We were surprised to find this great diner like cafe that seemed to be hopping! Great food for an awesome price! Had 10 and 13 year old sons, hubby, an auntie and 90 year old grandmom. We all loved it! Great service too!... More

Centrally located, always crowded mainly because of good quality food and reasonable rate. Lovely service, worth visiting to try authentic Mexican breakfast

Went on Saturday afternoon with family. Had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. Overall good value, is close to Zocalo and the bread/pastries are freshly baked. Enchilada 'paquete' is a best bet.
