Contemporary Mexican food full of delicious surprises. This place simply surprises you! Start with appetizers...guacamole with chips, that will surprise you with many different shapes, forms and tastes of chips just out of the oven. Never had chips like that! Try also the tuna appetizer or the ceviche options which come with incredibly tasty souces. Main entry will offer you... More

We went twice on our trip to Mexico City and this was definitely the best food we had. Between the 7 of us we tried most of the menu and everything was fresh, tasted amazing an the service was great. You must try the shrimp tacos. They are amazing! I will definitely go back on the next trip.

We went to La Capital twice during our recent visit. The restaurant is airy and modern, lively without being loud. The staff were helpful, friendly but not overbearing. Our favourite dishes were the tostada with raw ahi tuna the combination of a crisp tortilla, raw tuna, tangy spicy sauce, fried leek chips and avocado worked so well. Next best dish... More

Th efood is usually fresh and well prepared. We had some thuna tostadas, guacamole and a variety of ships: potato, banana, manioc and sweet potato. The Mexican quesadilla with champignons, cheese and pumpkin flowers was very good. Drinks, especially mezcal and margaritas are a must.

Both of us got the lime soup and the flavors were good. But after we finished with the soup we both started to feel awful. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and even if she was feeling well they would have been inedible. They were drowning in glopy mayonnaise. I had stake with cheese in a tortilla, it was served... I had an opportunity to visit for a few days in Mexico City,. I had heard there was a renaissance in the cuisine of the city. I was anxious to try but had some serious reservations about my communication skills and also nervous about food that may be to exotic for my taste. I can say that I came back... More

We loved this place. Food was amazing, and the mixed drinks were really good and original. We loved it so much we went back on a very short trip. The only drawback is that is very noisy, so go early or very late.

Great space and atmosphere, attentive service, food is presented beautifully with a taste to match. They do meats well (beef, chicken), and I love the pomegranate seeds sprinkled on the guacamole. Eating here-- even or just drinks-- is a quality dining experience and is reasonably priced.

Initially liked the buzz and atmosphere, and cocktails, but as it got busier it was overwhelming. Service was good. I ordered a chicken breast stuffed with pistachio and covered in crushed tortilla. Sounded great and waiter assured it would be moist. Very disappointed! Dry and barely edible. My sister had a fish dish that sounded great, but was awful: fish... More
