We picked this with friends who live in Mexico City and weren't disappointed. Starters of antipasta and soup were good and 5 main courses of stuffed peppers, steak, salmon, chicken with fungi and a vegetarian dish were all substantial and really tasty. As a couple of beers some wine and soft drinks and for 5 people it was just $100.00.... More

We wanted to experience Coyoacan at night and enjoy Italian food at the same time. It was our last evening in Mexico City after a week traveling around. My lasagna was very good and enjoyed their version of Sangria. It was so good! Can't remember its name.

My husband and I chose this spot for a special breakfast as we headed out on an anniversary trip. We are very used to the restaurants in the Zocalo in coyoacan and foolishly assumed that the juice and other things they kept offer in were part of the package. They were not. This Breakfast cost more than many of Our... More

The food was really good, we ordered the risotto nero, risotto with wild mushrooms and the sesame coated salmon with guava and red fruit purée. They were all delicious. Desert was not something they would stand out for, but the service was on point and the terrace is really nice. Would definitely go back.

We had breakfast in this restaurant which is very nicely decorated colonial style. It has a pretty terrace where you can eat and have a pretty view of Coyoacan's down town garden. They serve mexican food and have a big variety of omelets, enchiladas and different mexican dishes, fruit and pastries. You can spend a nice time before or after... More

Staying in Coyoacan

Neighbourhood Profile
Once you step into Coyoacán (“Land of the Coyotes”) you'll find picturesque parks and cantinas that will transport you back to the colonial era thanks to the brick and stone details of the area. Iconic writers such as Trotsky and great painters like Frida Kahlo seeked refuge and inspiration in this area, and you can see the unique spirit of this neighborhood reflected in its colorful market where nieves, sopes and all kinds of traditional 'antojitos' are a must try. Restaurants and cafés throughout its peaceful paved streets contain traditional but unique murals and decorations, where one can enjoy a mezcal at noon or the best churros with a cup of coffee.
