Best view in the City, super friendly staff. Thanks to Captain Alex Badillo, Fernando y Ricardo for making an extra special birthday surprise. The Brunch was excellent, and although pricey in Pesos, very affordable compared to U.S. meals of the same caliber. Dinner was amazing, great salad bar, We actually had burgers haha but it was delicious. Can't wait to... More

If you are at the Zocalo in Mexico City you must have a meal at the Terraza restaurant just to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Zocalo. The food and service are fine.

I only went there for the view, but sat down and had a very pleasant evening. The food was very good and the Margaritas were excellent. The waiters were very nice as well. Great choice.

We were staying in the Hotel and we we saw the view from the restaurant we said we have to try it! Apparently they have this weird rule about not allowing people to go up to see the restaurant unless you are a guest of the hotel I don't know, nevertheless the hostess (I forgot your name) I think is... You want the most breathtaking view of the city center? This is the place to be! The restaurant "La Terraza" is great. We asked for a table near the edge (had to wait an extra 30 min) and it was totally worth it. Food is great, service is amazing and the view is breathtaking.

This place has the greatest view of the Zocalo. For any foreigner visiting for the first time, I would certainly suggest visiting simply for the experience. Sure it is not the greatest food in the world, but the view is just breathtaking. I ate brunch there and thought the food was decent and the service was very good in my... More

Wow. What a view. The whole zocalo is below you. Too big to get all in one picture. Great. The food - ugh. Service - poor. But what a view. We went for breakfast, but if you can go for just a dessert and/or drink - well, that would probably be worth doing. Eating there isn't.

Spent the whole day on a bus from Guanajuato (fleeing the Pope) to arrive in Mexico City hungry & tired, and settled on La Terraza due to its location and fancy rep. Sadly we were freezing seated overlooking the Zocalo (good view, but not worth the suffering wind) so had to move away from the edge under the 1000 florescent... More

My wife and I were spending Christmas in downtown near Zocalo and wanted to have Christmas dinner on the terrace of this restaurant because of the beautiful views of the cathedral and palace. To get a reservation on the terrace, we were required to pay for the meal (600 pesos each!), which we unfortunately did. The service was terrible and... More

The La Terraza del Conquistador at the Zocalo in Mexico City used to be an excellent place for taking visiting family members, friends or business partners to one of Mexico's most famous and most visited places, the Zocalo of the capitol. At the beginning it might be a bit hard to find, but the hidden entrance is located between all... More
